Sports Photography
Photographing movement — and what moves through it
I am not drawn to medals.
I am drawn to what happens just before.
The breath held.
The focus that closes the world around.
Hands tightening.
A look that says “I’m ready.”
Sports are raw territory.
You see fatigue, tension, resilience, teamwork.
You see bodies working hard and emotions moving fast.
That’s what I photograph.
What I look for
I am not only searching for the perfect action shot.
I am looking for the human moment inside the action.
An exchange between teammates.
A quiet moment in the locker room.
A loss that teaches something.
A win that explodes.
I photograph sports the same way I photograph life: by respecting what unfolds, without over-directing.
I want the images to tell more than the score.
My approach
I work with natural light whenever possible.
I move with discretion.
I document.
I work with:
sports teams
organizations
individual athletes
sporting events
I can cover a game, a tournament, a full season, or a day in the life of a team.
Every project begins with a conversation.
I want to understand what you want to remember.
Why sports belong in my universe
Because sports are a place of transformation.
You learn to fall.
To get back up.
To collaborate.
To persevere.
And all of that deserves to be documented with care.
Let’s talk
If you would like to document your team, your event, or your athletic journey, reach out.
I will be there to capture the energy, the movement — and everything that moves through it.
